ITER and Cepsa, seek synergies to develop new projects that contribute to the sustainable development of the island

Cepsa visited the ITER facilities and participated in a meeting in which both entities presented their projects under development,

ITER received a delegation from the innovation department of Cepsa. During the meeting, both entities had the opportunity to present the research and development projects they are working on. The objective is to identify lines of action in which there are parallelisms or connection points between both entities and that serve as a starting point to establish future synergies.

The meeting was attended by Cepsa’s Director of Innovation – Belén Linares; the Senior Consultant Rafael Larraz; the Manager of Collaborative Innovation with Partners and Academy Jesús Montes; the Head of Analytical Services in the Canary Islands Amayra García and the Head of Communication and Institutional Relations in the Canary Islands Belén Machando. On the other hand, ITER counted with the presence of the Councilor of Innovation of the Island Council of Tenerife Juan José Martínez; the Director of the Engineering Area Jesús Rodríguez Álamo, the Head of the Wind Energy Department Guillermo Galván; the Head of the Photovoltaic Department Elena Llarena; the Head of the Sustainable Architecture Department María Delgado, the Technician of the Environment Area Gladys Melián and the Head of the Genomics Department José Miguel Lorenzo.

Taking advantage of the fact that the meeting was held at the ITER facilities, the delegation visited the Dalix Datacenter where the Teide HPC supercomputer is located.
