OPEN GOVERNMENT
The purpose of the Collaboration Agreement is to establish the conditions for collaboration in carrying out actions for the storage of data and information of the Excmo. Cabildo Insular de Tenerife and for making them available to the citizens of the island of Tenerife, within the framework of the Open Government actions of the Island Corporation.
The agreement includes, among others, the following actions:
- Definition of technological strategies, identifying good practices and existing technological alternatives, promoting the public provision of information and data related to the management of public services and the activity of the Island Corporation, in accordance with international Open Data standards.
- Technical advice and support to the Cabildo Insular de Tenerife in the capture of information and data that will be made available.
- Public provision of audiovisual content derived from the activity of the Island Corporation, for the purpose of publishing it through an institutional digital platform on the Internet.
Within the agreement, the objective is set to identify best practices and existing technological alternatives, to provide technical advice and support to the different areas and services of the island corporation in the capture of information and data that will be made publicly available following Open Data standards.
This action, aimed at the development of the open data map and the development of the open data portal, will prioritize the publication of at least two datasets from the institution.
The scope of action for the development of the Open Data Map of the Cabildo Insular will be the Services of the Corporation, and specifically, those data suitable for publication that are included or not in the Services’ databases, but are not in the Corporation’s centralized databases, will be identified; the data to be included are those that constitute a quantifiable result of any activity carried out in the Services
