Electronics laboratory

Research, development and innovation (R+D+i) are the main basis of ITER’s work. Under this philosophy, the activities of the electronics laboratory are developed. This laboratory is located in one of the warehouses of the ITER facilities and its main objective is the design, construction and testing of circuits and electronic devices, based on analog and digital electronics.

The high qualification and extensive professional experience of our staff allows us to develop our own electronic technology. On the one hand, the facilities are prepared for the design and testing of electronic circuits, as well as for the manufacturing of small series of them. In addition to this, the laboratory is used as a support service for different ITER projects and activities, being one of its main lines of work the development of energy conversion and storage systems from renewable sources.
