PROTOCOL FOR EXTERNAL ACCESS TO ITER ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING POINTS

Welcome to the Technological Institute of Renewable Energy (ITER). You are accessing the network of electric vehicle charging points provided by ITER.

At these charging points, you will be able to meet your vehicle’s energy needs through a supply sourced from 100% renewable energy.

To use these facilities, you must follow the instructions below AND COMPLY WITH THE SAFETY PROTOCOL DESCRIBED. In addition, depending on the charging point to be used, you must complete the corresponding registration procedures.

HOURS:

Monday to Friday: 09:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Weekends and public holidays: Closed

ACCESS MAP

To access the charging points, follow the directions on the map. Without taking any detours from the entrance, you will reach the main parking area, where you will find:

  • Two (2) fast charging points (Mode 4).
  • Fourteen (14) slow charging points (Modes 2 and 3).

PREVENTIVE MEASURES – SAFETY PROTOCOL

  1. Users must follow the safety instructions provided at the entrance to the ITER S.A. facilities. Vehicle details will be recorded in advance, and the temperature of all occupants will be taken upon entry to the ITER S.A. premises.
  2. Users must remain within the designated vehicle charging area, avoiding obstruction of the facility entrance and refraining from moving around the parking area during the charging period.
  3. The use of hydroalcoholic gel is mandatory before using the chargers. Dispensers are available at the charging points.
  4. The stay within ITER facilities by the electric vehicle and all its occupants must be limited to the minimum time necessary to carry out partial or full charging.

Circulating or moving away from the explicitly designated areas is strictly prohibited.

Users are requested to make responsible use of the facilities and equipment.

There are two fast charging points, with unit power of up to 50kW in DC and CHAdeMO and CCS Combo 2 connections.

These charging points are intended exclusively for fast charging with a 1 hour limit. They are not visitor parking spaces and must not be occupied unless you are recharging your vehicle.

To use it you must download the EV Charge application. Once installed, you must register with your data and validate your account. Now you will be able to access ITER’s chargers by searching for them in the application.

Charger number 1 is the one on your left, and number 2 on your right. The charger will only respond if you are close to it with your mobile terminal.

Once the charger is selected, you must add the recharging terminal, CHAdeMO or CCS Combo 2, as well as add the recharging time or amount of energy to be supplied.

Finally connect the socket to the charging point of your vehicle and select confirm in the APP. At this moment the central lights of the charger will be activated (if not, you must make sure that you have followed the previous steps correctly).

You can start charging by pressing the central “START” button. You can add a charge limiter beforehand if you wish, so as not to exceed 80% of the battery capacity.

Do not try to disconnect the socket from the vehicle during the charging process. You must first stop the process by pressing the “STOP” button.

REPLACE THE SOCKET IN THE LOCATION PROVIDED, DO NOT LEAVE THE CONNECTOR ON THE GROUND.

If you have any incident or emergency you can stop the charging process by pressing the emergency stop button on the charger. You can also leave your indications through the APP. Select the charger, icon “HELP”.

We hope your stay was satisfactory, your 100% renewable energy recharge has contributed to the environment and promotes the fulfillment of the planet’s decarbonization goals.

We wish you a pleasant trip.

In addition to the two fast recharging points, there are 15 parking spaces for visitors with mode 2 and 3 recharging points in ALTERNATIVE CURRENT. These are distributed as follows:
