The Visitor Centre is part of the ITER dissemination facilities, together with the Paseo de Energías Renovables, and is the work of the winning architect of the 25 Bioclimatic Dwellings competition, César Ruíz – Larrea.
This bioclimatic building, which is characterised mainly by its integration into its surroundings, welcomes visitors to the Institute and has an exhibition area that aims to draw the visitor’s attention to the energy issue and the main projects and activities of ITER. The centre also has a conference room with a capacity for 200 people equipped with two simultaneous translation booths and a projection booth, as well as two multi-purpose rooms and a rest area.

Opening hours to the public (*):
- Tuesday to Saturday: 9:45h – 11:45h / 12:00h – 14:00h.
(*) Our facilities follow the working calendar of the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and we are not open on public holidays and the eve of relevant holidays.
