On May 7th they visited the ITER facilities to know the D-ALiX CPD capabilities and the TEIDE HPC supercomputer.
Begoña Ortiz Lestón, CEO, and Jesús Rodriguez Alamo, Engineering Director, accompanied the interested parties during the visit to see the Teide HPC (High Performance Computing). This is a fundamental part of the ALiX project for the implementation of infrastructures oriented to the creation of the industrial fabric around Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). It should be noted that since last year, the TEIDE HPC has a new device, which through Artificial Intelligence complements and expands the supercomputing capabilities of ITER, increasing its current capacity of 260TLOPS with a machine that quadruples this performance, around 1000Flops.
This visit to ITER was included as part of the program of the XVII Jornadas Odoo 2024 organized by BINHEX and FEMETE and that this year took place during the 6th, 7th and 8th of May in the south of Tenerife. This conference is an opportunity for developers and functional consultants. Its objective is to share the design of new community modules, as well as the incorporation of improvements and migrations of existing modules. All under the umbrella of the OCA and its repositories on Github.
