ITER’s stand at this event will focus on automation and data intelligence activities linked to the development of research and development projects.
The Institute of Technology and Renewable Energies (ITER) will actively participate in the Engineering Technical Conferences organized by the University of La Laguna (ULL), a key event to connect university students with the professional world and encourage vocations in the field of engineering. The conference will be held on December 10th and 11th at the School of Engineering and Technology (ESIT) of the ULL and will be open to the public free of charge.
ITER’s booth will be present on December 11th and will focus on exhibiting its most outstanding projects in automation and data intelligence, fundamental elements in the research and development of new technologies. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact directly with researchers and learn about the impact of these innovations in the local and global industry.
Among the main attractions, the following will be presented Marysola robot assistant designed and manufactured entirely in ITER. This robot is an example of how cutting-edge technology can facilitate tasks and improve processes in different applications. Participants will be able to see Marysol up close, learn about its development history and discover how it is integrated into ITER’s activities.
Another of the projects to be highlighted will be REGADIAan initiative focused on optimizing water use in avocado and banana crops. Visitors will be able to observe the sensors developed to measure soil moisture and talk with researchers about the methodologies used to maximize irrigation efficiency and contribute to the sustainability of natural resources.
The PAULIA project project will also have a space at the stand. This initiative seeks to develop a comprehensive tool to assess the climate vulnerability of urban areas, identify temperature hotspots and propose solutions based on the characteristics of soil materials and vegetation. The goal is to improve urban planning and optimize public spaces in small cities, promoting a more resilient environment to climate change.
The Jornadas Técnicas de Ingeniería not only allows students to learn about the latest advances in engineering, but also opens the door to new opportunities for collaboration and professional development. The event addresses relevant topics such as research, entrepreneurship and innovation, being an ideal platform for networking with companies and professionals in the sector.
This year, ESIT reinforces its commitment to the training of future professionals and the development of the technological community of the Canary Islands, making this conference an essential meeting point for students of Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanics and Chemistry, as well as vocational training.
Do not miss the opportunity to visit the ITER stand and discover first hand how research and technology are shaping the future. To know the complete program of the Engineering Technical Conferences, visit the ULL website.
