The charging area has 17 charging stations for electric vehicle charging, including two new fast charging units, each with a power of 50 kW in direct current.
The supply area consists of seventeen places for recharging electric vehicles, enabled with a total of twenty-three charging points. This makes it the largest electric vehicle charging platform in the Canary Islands with 100% renewable energy supply and free access, where we can find both fast and slow charging points, as well as different self-developed technologies.
Public access to the ITER recharging points platform had been limited due to the health situation generated by the COVID-19 pandemic, and with the return to the “new normal”, it has been reopened with two new fast charging points.

The new fast charging points have a power of 50 kW each, in direct current, and with CHAdeMO and CCS Combo 2 connections, allowing up to 80% of the vehicle’s charge to be recharged in very short periods of time. In just 15 minutes of charging, they can offer a range of 100 kilometers on average.
The remaining fifteen parking spaces correspond to alternating current mode 2 and 3 recharging points.
It is important to highlight that all the energy that supplies the vehicles of the users that visit us will be of 100% renewable origin and they will be able to access it free of charge.
All instructions for access and use of the ITER electric vehicle charging area can be found here.
