WEATHER FORECASTS In collaboration with the Earth and Atmosphere Observation Group (GOTA) of the University of La Laguna, a weather prediction model based on the WRF (Weather Research and Forecasting) model was implemented. This tool is a valuable starting point for carrying out various analyses and predictions at different points in the geography. Isla 100 is a tool developed by ITER to analyze different scenarios that evaluate hourly the annual energy mix of an isolated community to help in planning the incorporation of renewables and storage.
