Adapro – Adaptive Processor
Adapro is a cross-platform, multi-user word processor adapted for individuals with functional diversity, such as dyslexia or autism. Its tailored, transparent, and configurable interface provides an environment that fosters sufficient user confidence to maintain their attention.

It facilitates familiarisation with these tools thanks to the following features:
- Configurable according to the end-user’s level.
- Abstraction of document management for the user.
- Meets with usability and accessibility requirements.

Adapro stands out for its special functionalities:
- Pictograms: assists the user by displaying a pictogram when a word is typed (+10000 pictograms and expandable).
- PBDQ: assists the user by highlighting the letters pbdq, for better distinction during reading.
- High contrast modes: combinations of background and font colour to enhance contrast.
- Virtual keyboards: extension to generate tasks adapted to the user’s needs.

Adapro es un proyecto FEDER de la Unión Europea enmarcado en el Programa de Cooperación Transnacional Açores-Madeira-Canarias (PCT-MAC). Está disponible en español, inglés y portugués.
