VIRTUAL TOUR

Renewable Energy trail

The main aim of the trail is to raise public awareness of renewable energy and related concepts, such as energy saving and the careful use of resources, all experienced within the actual surroundings of the ITER complex.

This virtual tour has been developed within the frame of the SOSTURMAC project, co-financed by the Interreg Madeira-Azores-Canarias (MAC) Territorial Cooperation Program 2014-2020 (1st Call).

Photovoltaics laboratory – SiCellLab

ITER’s Photovoltaics Laboratory, known as SiCell Lab, is a state-of-the-art scientific and technological facility established with the aim of contributing to the development and consolidation of new techniques for producing photovoltaic cells based on crystalline silicon and new materials.

Get to know this scientific-technical infrastructure of ITER thanks to this virtual teaching tool developed within the frame of MACLAB-PV project “Improvement of R&D&I technologies and capacity building in the sectors of renewable energy and energy efficiency of the Canary Islands and Senegal”, co-financed by the INTERREG MAC 2014-2020 Programme.
