PREVENTIVE MEASURES – SECURITY PROTOCOL

  1. Users will follow the instructions given by the security staff at the entrance of ITER’s facilities. Before accessing the facilities, the vehicle will be registered and the occupants will have their temperature taken.
  2. The use of a face mask is mandatory, except in outdoor areas and when you can maintain the safety distance of 1.5 meters between people. This safety distance is not necessary for groups of cohabitants. You are in a work facility, so please do not disturb ITER’s staff, except in case of emergency.
  3. It is mandatory to remain within the delimited area when recharging the vehicle, avoiding hindering the entrance of the facilities, or wandering around the parking area during the recharging time.
  4. The use of hydro alcoholic gel is mandatory before using the rechargers. Dispensers are available at the recharging points.
  5.  Your stay at ITER’s facilities (electric vehicle and all of its occupants) will be restricted to the time needed to carry out the partial or total recharge of the vehicle.

It is completely forbidden to circulate or walk away from the indicated areas.

Please make a responsible use of the facilities and equipment.

There are two fast charging points, with unit power of up to 50kW in DC and CHAdeMO and CCS Combo 2 connections.

These charging points are designed exclusively for fast charging with a limitation of 1 hour. They are not parking spaces for visitors and should not be occupied unless you are recharging your vehicle.

First you must download the EV Charge app. Once installed you must register with your data and validate your account. Now, look for ITER´s chargers in the app.

Charger number 1 is the one on your left, and number 2 is the one on your right. The charger will only respond if your mobile terminal is close enough.

Once you select the charger, you must add the charging terminal, either CHAdeMO or CCS Combo 2. You will also add now the recharge time desired or the amount of energy you want to be supplied.

To end, please connect the socket in your vehicle´s charging point and select confirm in the APP. At this point, the lights located in the center of the charger will turn on.  (If the lights don´t turn on, please make sure that you have correctly followed the previous steps).

Press the “START” button to start charging. Please note, you can add a charge limitation if you do not want to surpass 80% of the battery capacity.

Do not try to disconnect the socket from the vehicle during the charging process. If you need to stop the process press the STOP button before you disconnect the socket.

PUT THE SOCKET BACK IN PLACE, NEVER LEAVE THE CONNECTOR ON THE GROUND

In the event of an emergency, the charging process can be interrupted by pressing the emergency stop button on the charger. In the app, the HELP icon will allow you to leave comments about any problems you may have had.

We hope that your stay has been satisfactory; your 100% renewable energy recharge has contributed to the environment and promotes the fulfillment of the objectives of decarbonisation of the planet.

We wish you a good trip.
