The Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico de Telecomunicaciones de Tenerife (<sup>IT3<\/sup>) is responsible for its management and operation, the first phase of which connects the metropolitan area of the island with the D-ALiX datacenter and passes through 12 municipalities. <sup>IT3<\/sup> is a neutral telecommunications operator created by the Cabildo Insular de Tenerife and framed within the ALiX project.  <\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-37418\" src=\"https:\/\/\u200bwww.iter.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/IMG_1738-1024x512.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"512\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.iter.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/IMG_1738-1024x512.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.iter.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/IMG_1738-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.iter.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/IMG_1738-768x384.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.iter.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/IMG_1738-150x75.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.iter.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/IMG_1738-450x225.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.iter.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/IMG_1738.jpg 1100w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In its second phase, the ring will be closed around the entire island of Tenerife, accessing the 35 municipalities that make up the island.
