{"id":39059,"date":"2015-02-26T14:54:27","date_gmt":"2015-02-26T14:54:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/\u200bnew.iter.es\/manufacturing-and-characterisation\/"},"modified":"2025-02-26T14:54:27","modified_gmt":"2025-02-26T14:54:27","slug":"manufacturing-and-characterisation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.iter.es\/en\/manufacturing-and-characterisation\/","title":{"rendered":"Manufacturing and characterisation"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-0 fusion_builder_column_3_5 3_5 fusion-three-fifth fusion-column-first\">\n<div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-column-wrapper-legacy\">\n<div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-1\">\n<p>The services of manufacturing and characterisation of photovoltaic cells and technological certification for the use of photovoltaic laboratory equipment are part of the activities of the Photovoltaic Laboratory (SiCell-Lab), a state-of-the-art technological infrastructure that occupies 390 m2 and is located in the ITER engineering building complex.<\/p>\n<p>The services consist of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Equipment for the manufacture of photovoltaic devices.<\/li>\n<li>Equipment for the electrical and optical characterisation of photovoltaic devices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"15\" data-lineheight=\"45px\">Services delivery<\/h3>\n<p>The services offered by the Photovoltaic Laboratory (SiCell-Lab) are carried out according to the following modalities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Service with technical support:<\/strong> Given the inherent complexity of the manufacturing and\/or characterisation processes, in this modality all the actions are carried out exclusively by the laboratory staff.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mixed service:<\/strong> When any of the tasks require the participation of outside personnel, these may be carried out under the supervision of laboratory personnel, after obtaining the corresponding Certificate of Use for the equipment in question.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Certification of Use Service<\/strong>: A prerequisite for the performance of any task in the laboratory by non-laboratory personnel.
