This workshop, in addition to providing support to the rest of ITER’s departments, performs services to third parties, both for the manufacture of small-scale models and full-scale prototypes in various fields of engineering.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

For the provision of this type of services, we have machinery with CAD\/CAM technology, such as CNC pantograph and 3D printer, complemented by a complete workshop with manual and electrical machinery.<\/p>\n

The workshop is also capable of manufacturing tools and parts in FRP composite materials, plastic reinforced with synthetic fibers, such as carbon fiber reinforced epoxy, Aramid (Kevlar) or glass.<\/p>\n

As a complement, the workshop has the necessary tools to equip the models with electromechanical and\/or pneumatic actuators when the situation requires it.<\/p>\n
