the Territorial Cooperation Programme INTERREG V A Spain-Portugal MAC 2014-2020, is born as a continuation of the VOLRISKMAC project.<\/p>\n<p>The overall objective of VOLRISKMAC II is to strengthen R&amp;D&amp;i capacities for resilience development in future volcanic emergencies in Macaronesia.<\/p>\n<p>This project aims to strengthen the volcanic early warning system in Macaronesia by improving instrumental networks and developing and implementing innovative methodologies, strengthen the resilience of volcanic monitoring systems in Macaronesia and generate a collaborative network between participating partners and nationally and\/or internationally recognized R&amp;D institutions to strengthen scientific response to Volcanic emergencies in Macaronesia.<\/p>\n<p><img and developing and implementing innovative methodologies.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Activity 2.1.1 \u2013<\/strong> Design and implementation of geophysical and geochemical instrumental networks to strengthen the response to volcanic emergencies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Activity 2.1.2 &#8211;<\/strong> Design and implementation of an instrumental network of remote optical sensors to strengthen the response to volcanic emergencies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Activity 2.1.3 \u2013<\/strong> Implementation of a petrological methodology to establish the time scales of the precursors of volcanic eruptions in Macaronesia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>S.O. 2: Strengthen the resilience of volcanic monitoring systems in Macaronesia.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Activity 2.2.1 \u2013<\/strong> Improved data acquisition and transmission systems to ensure effective operation of volcanic monitoring systems during emergencies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Activity 2.2.2 \u2013<\/strong> Development and improvement of the system for processing and storing information generated by instrumental volcanic monitoring networks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Activity 2.2.3 \u2013<\/strong> Create, strengthen and maintain a technological infrastructure, technological equipment and ad-hoc technical personnel for the development of monitoring centers for the scientific management of volcanic emergencies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>S.O. 3: Generate a collaborative network between participating partners and nationally and\/or internationally recognized R&amp;D institutions to strengthen the scientific response to volcanic emergencies in Macaronesia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Activity 2.3.1 \u2013<\/strong> Conducting volcanic emergency simulations in Macaronesia to strengthen the response of participating partners during the pre-eruptive and eruptive phases.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Actividad 2.3.2 \u2013 <\/strong> Generation of human capital specialized in issues of volcanic risk and resilience to volcanic emergency, through the transfer of knowledge, tools and technologies from and to society.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Actividad 2.3.3 \u2013<\/strong> Organisation of three workshops for the dissemination of
