Budget<\/strong>: 281,019.11 \u20ac TELEPLANETA is a science popularisation project that has been consolidated since 2009, and which is produced jointly with Televisi\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola in the Canary Islands. It is a 20-minute television programme that deals with various scientific topics, including natural hazards, science and technology, and is broadcast on TVE’s 24-hour Channel, as well as on the International Channel, and regionally on TVE’s La1. This project allows to bring first-hand and through a mass broadcasting platform such as TVE, a multitude of news and scientific and technological discoveries, allowing viewers to increase their scientific and innovative culture. <\/p>\n TELEPLANETA, hosted by geologist David Calvo, is a product produced entirely from the Canary Islands for the world and its main objective is to assert itself as a programme classified by RTVE as a \u2018public service\u2019 that helps to raise awareness in society of the relationship between Humanity and Planet Earth.
