Master´s Degree in Renewable Energies 2008 – 10
General Description and training goals of the master´s degree:
The aim of the European master´s degree in Renewable Energy is to provide post-graduate students the ability to fill the gap between the growing industry demand for specialised renewable energy expertise and the skills available in the job market.
It is considered as the initial phase of post-graduated studies for university students that want to start a research career in one of the research groups or R+D organizations, which collaborate in the master program. This way, the first semester of the second year and the final project is when they specialise in a chosen technology and get prepared to be integrated in research groups and in the universities, institutes and companies that participate in the master´s degree.
ITER collaborates in the master´s degree with the presence of several technicians as teachers and with its facilities, where the solar speciality is given taught.
The degree offers three different specialities that are given during the second year, allowing students to specialize in one of these three areas:
- Solar energy
- Wind energy
- Enterprises and economy of energy
